Heritage Adult Day

As we age, our health needs change. At Heritage Adult Day, we offer our services to help adults learn the physical, psychological, spiritual, and social aspects of healthy aging. 

Heritage Adult Day Inc. was established in September 2009. We are currently located at 741 West 25th Avenue, Gary, Indiana. Heritage is operated by Angela Taylor-Biddings, BSN-RN. Angela is a Registered Nurse who also has a certification in wound care. She uses her professional skills to care for the clients served at Heritage. Having a nurse involved in the care of clients offers 

consistent medical knowledge to clients and families served. She has 25 years of experience in caring for our Aged and Disabled population of Adult Day services. 

Staffed by caring professionals with experience in dealing with special needs of adults, our program provides a wide variety of services. Our staff includes dedicated nursing staff, program 

assistants, Drivers, Activities Coordinator, dietary, office, and maintenance personnel. 

Heritage provides direct care for clients each day. We promote daily exercise, arts and crafts, games, card games, outings and make sure clients receive exceptional care each day. Heritage works closely with case managers and patients' families to provide social assistance beyond their care while at Heritage Adult Day. When it is not convenient for their loved ones, we provide transportation for our clients to doctor appointments (within an allowed range). 

This team recognizes the need for services and has a passion to serve the underserved population.
